Dr Tom Silva grew up in Brazil, where he first gained experience in skin surgery and cosmetic medicine. Upon moving to Australia 14 years ago, he trained as a medical resident at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide and in the Gold Coast University hospital in multiple surgical and medical specialties. He further advanced his training as an accredited registrar in Cancer medicine (radiation oncology) at Lismore Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
General Practitioner (GP)
Dr Jane Collins undertook her medical training at the University of Queensland and completed her residency at the Royal Brisbane and Prince Charles Hospitals. She was a military medical officer from 1991 – 1994 before working in rural general practice until 2000. In 1997, Dr Collins completed her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has since completed Diplomas in Nutrition, Environmental Medicine (2003) and Child Health (2005).
