Dr Tom Silva grew up in Brazil, where he first gained experience in skin surgery and cosmetic medicine. Upon moving to Australia 14 years ago, he trained as a medical resident at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide and in the Gold Coast University hospital in multiple surgical and medical specialties.
